| Give a dog a home |

| | hopeful | ] | This is a rather odd post, today.
So there was an email sent round all the vet students last week, from a fourth year student who had been part of a team working in Cyprus this summer. While they were there, the team adopted a stray dog. Now that the team has left, the sanctuary hasn’t the room to keep him, so they’re trying to find him a good home.
This is Gunther. Doesn’t he look lovely?
So basically, anyone know someone in Cyprus looking for a dog? Please send all queries/replies to me at smile4me_12@hotmail.com, or in comment and I'll put you in contact with Kristine Kelso. Below is the email we all received.

Okay, so I majorly owe an update on my life. Which I do intend to do soon. (My last exam is tomorrow, so maybe after that?) But this is not that. This is my entry for Queerics Awesome Giveaway!
If you are unaware Queerics is a lovely site run by cheshcan which archives lyrics of a queer nature. It's amazing. From the obvious, to loads of songs where you maybe wouldn't pick it up or would just pass it by. It also has an awesome guide to who may or may not have stated their sexual orientation, artists wise. And now, it's running an awesome giveaway. It is awesome, not only because free stuff is always awesome, and not just because the prizes are actually awesome (click the first link to see what's what), but because it's a giveaway. Not a contest. It's randomly selected winners, which is fun for everyone, says I. I also say, enter! It's all about promoting independent artists, which is a cause I would imagine we all agree with. Also: free stuff. I bet we all agree with that too :)
Okay. Entry time. I don't think I really listen to that much queer music, but then, I often fall into that category of "wouldn't notice", even if I did. I do however find queer culture rather fascinating, and yes, mostly what I mean by that, is I could listen to (read) Ellie's thoughts on all things gender roles, sexuality, the-boxes-people-put-themselves-in-but-that-doesn't-mean-the-boxes-exist for pretty much ever. It's interesting. I like what makes people people, y'know? So anyway, since I am more a sit-and-listen-and-be-interested-sort, my entry is going to be a mash of "Which queer artist melts your heart, and why?" and "Which queer artist have you been listening to for the longest? How'd you discover them?" and is all basically an excuse for me to talk about the amazing Belle & Sebastian.
( We're not terrific but we're competent )
Okay, now I should go study. And eat. Oh my.
